National Voters’ Day (NVD) is observed by the KVK Bhadradri kothagudem district on 25-01-2022

To encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government of India has decided to celebrate January 25 every year as "National Voters' Day". 12th National Voters’ Day (NVD) is observed by. kvk Bhadradri kothagudem district on 25th January 2022. Dr. V.L.Narayanamma programme coordinator explained about the importance of the Voters' Day, initiated in 2011 by the then President of India, Pratibha Devi Patil, on the 61st foundation day of the Election Commission of India or ECI, established on January 25, 1950. the main theme of ‘Making Our Voters Empowered, Vigilant, Safe and Informed. Dr. R. Srinivasa Rao SMS(crop production) . Dr. R.Vishwatej, SMS, (Extension ) . B. Shiva, SMS, (Horticulture) Mrs. S. Vindya SMS (agromet) and all the staff pledged to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement.”
