Creating Awareness on non-use of Bioproducts to avoid crop damage by Scientists KVK, Kampasagar on 21-10-2020

Joint field team of scientists, KVK, Kampasagar and Agriculture Department officers conducted field visit to rice crop severely damaged by spraying of BioProducts combined with insecticides at Raghavapuram (V), Palakaveedu (M), Suryapet Dist on 22.10.2020. Farmers are attracting bioproducts and insecticides easily available nearby State Andhra Pradesh at low cost without any details of composition and facing huge crop loss by application. Scientists created awareness not to purchase and use Bioproducts which are not recommended by University and Govt of Telangana. Dr.M. A.Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator and Dr.M.Shankar SMS (Plant Protection), KVK, Kampasagar, Smt. Sandhya Rani, Assistant Director of Agriculture, Huzurnagar division, Sri. Verabadhra Rao, Agriculture Officer, Palakaveedu Mandal, Suryapet District and nearly 20 farmers participated in field visit.
