NSS Day Celebrations - NSS Units, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar on 24.09.2024

The NSS units at the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, celebrated “NSS Day” in a grand manner on September 24, 2024, at the college premises and in Premavathipet, Rajendranagar. The chief guest, Dr. J. Satyanarayana, NSS Programme Coordinator and Dean of Student Affairs, addressed the NSS volunteers, highlighting the importance of NSS and commending their dedicated service throughout their time in the NSS. Following the address, all volunteers participated in a rally, raising slogans focused on SHS and cleanliness, such as, “Bring your basket, avoid plastic,” “Eating plastic kills animals; our planet cries for help,” and “Save the planet; say no to plastic.” Later, the NSS volunteers participated in a flash mob dance featuring various NSS themes, followed by a skit that raised awareness about NSS activities and this year’s theme: Swabhav Swachhata Sanskaar Swachhata (4S) 2024. The programme was graced by Dr. J. Satyanarayana, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Board Member & Associate Dean, NSS P.O’s Dr. Sk. Ameer Basha, Dr. K. Sumalini, Dr. S. Upender, Dr. Ch. Srilatha, Dr. A. Meena, Dr. K. Aruna, Dr. P. Sri Ranjitha, CoA, Rajendranagar and all AELP Directors. A total of 200 students participated in the programme.
