NSS Day Celebrations at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar on 24-09-2021

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports every year. It was launched in 1969, the Birth centenary year of Mahatma Gandhi.NSS day is observed by the NSS wing in College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, PJTSAU, Hyderabadon 24th September 2021. The programme was graced by Dr. C.Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, explained about the NSS, its activities, its motto and created awareness to the students as well as staff and emphasized that the youth, full of passion and energy should contribute to the welfare of mankind 24 hours a day just like the symbol of NSS-the Rath Wheel and encouraged to develop the personality through community service. NSS POs conductedessay writing and elocution competitions, the winners of the events are awarded with Certificates and prizes. Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, Dr. C. V. Sameer Kumar and OIAM, Dr. J. Suresh, NSS Program Officers and all the registered participants made this event a grand success.
