NSS unit in collaboration with OISA, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar has organized “Orientation Programme on Antiragging, She teams, Cyber-crimes, Narcotics & Drugs” on 24.08.2024 at Auditorium, CoA, Rajendranagar. The programme was graced by Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, Sri. D. Prakash Rao, ASI of Police, Rajendranagar division she team incharge, Sri. D. Balraj, Police constable, Sri. R. Suresh, Police constable, Smt. V. Radha, woman Police constable. Associate Dean spoke to the students about the ill effects of ragging, cybercrime, narcotics & drugs as well as importance of self-defense. Sri. D. Prakash Rao, ASI of Police, addressed the students on topics including anti-ragging, SHE teams, cybercrimes, and narcotics and drugs and explained the harmful effects of misusing the internet. Smt. Padma and Sri. Narayana from the Self-Defense Academy also joined to provide students with self-defense tips to help them protect themselves from potential threats. Dr. P. Prashanth, OISA, NSS P.O’s Dr. Sk. Ameer Basha, Dr. K. Sumalini, Dr. S. Upender, Dr. Ch. Srilatha, Dr. A. Meena, Dr. K. Aruna, Dr. P. Sri Ranjitha, CoA, Rajendranagar, C-hostel wardens, teaching and Non-teaching staff organized and successfully conducted the program. A total of 500 students participated in the programme. All participants took pledge against drug abuse with one voice and devotion. At the end of the session, students underwent training in self-defense techniques as an introduction to the subject.
