Electronic Wing, PJTAU and MANAGE conducted Online Training Program on “ Social Media Skills for Extension Professionals from 10 to 14 February 2025.

Electronic Wing, PJTAU and MANAGE, Hyderabad has jointly conducted online training programme on “Social Media Skills for Extension Professionals”from 10th–14th February 2025. Chief guest of the Valedictory session Dr. M.Yakadri, Director of Extension, PJTAU, Hyderabad requested the participants to use the Social media platforms like YouTube ,Face book and Mobile apps learned out of this online training programme at your work place to reach the more no.of farmers with in short time with real time information. The day 1 first session was led by Dr.S.Chandra Sekhar, Professor [Agril.Extension], EEI Hyderabad on Social Media in Agricultural extension- an Over view followed by Dr.Hitesh Motivani CEO Skillopedia on Digital Marketing.The second day 1st session was dealt by Dr.Madhavi Ravi Kumar, Asst.Professor UOH ,Hyderabad on content development for Social media followed by Mr. G. David Raju , Buisiness Development Manager, Eminet Apps, Hyderabad on Development of website/blogs/Portals .The 3rd day session was on Mobile Apps in Agriculture: SMS-based tools and techniques by Dr. Jayaraghavendra Rao V.K. Principal Scientist ,(Agricultural Extension), ICAR - IIHR, Karnataka .4th day 1st session on Creation of YouTube Channel and Videos posting by Mr. Melwin Sam ,Creative Director, Couch Potato Video Production House, Hyderabad followed by lecture on Ways to Tackle Misinformation in Social Media, Mr. Tej Kumar Daram, Sr. Fact-Checker (Social Media) ,Date Leads, New Delhi.The Fifth day training started with lecture on Use of AR/VR in Social media by Dr. S. Rajesh Khanna, Director,Universal Handwriting Academy, Rajamundry,A.P and session on Social Media strategy for effective transfer of technology by Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Coordinator ,Electronic Wing, PJTAU, R’Nagar. The Course organizing team constituted of Dr.A.Sreenivasacharyulu, Dy. Director (Knowledge Management), MANAGE, Dr. M. Sreenivasulu Course Director and Coordinator, and Dr.J.S. Sudha Rani, Scientist (Agronomy) Electronic Wing. About 30 participants attended the five days online training programme.
