BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla celebrated 10th PJTSAU foundation day on 3rd September, 2024

BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla celebrated 10th PJTSAU foundation day on 3rd September, 2024, wherein students, Teaching, Non-teaching staff and out sourced personnel participated in the programme. Prof. T.V.K. Singh, Former Dean of Agriculture, PJTSAU was the chief guest for the programme. Dr. G. Priyadarshini, Assistant professor (Ento.) invited the dignitaries onto the dais followed by lightening of the lamp and University song. The programme started with welcome address and brief introduction about the University by Dr. Ch. Ramesh, OISA. The chief guest was introduced by Dr. G. Priyadarshini. Prof. Singh delivered the guest lecture on “Agricultural Scenario and Education” and enlightened the students about the Agricultural situation, achievements and Education Scenario with special reference to Telangana. Later, Dr. G. Sridevi, Associate Dean addressed the gathering. The chief guest distributed certificates presented by Dr. P. Madhavi, Assistant Professor (SSAC) to the student winners of Essay and slogan writing, logo designing and poster making competitions held during anti-ragging day celebrations and winners and runner-up students in Volleyball, table tennis and Caroms competitions held during National sports day celebrations. The programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Dr. M. Sampath Kumar, Assistant Professor (AEXT).
