Celebrations of 75th Independence Day at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet

While following the instructions of state government and Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University ‘75th Independence Day’ was celebrated at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet on 15th August 2021 with about 50 staff members including Teaching, Non-Teaching, Time Scale and Out sourcing employees. Associate Dean incharge Dr. V. Venkanna hosted the National Flag at about 8.30 AM, after garlanding to the Mahatma Gandhi. Associated Dean incharge has delivered his lecture on this occasion and stated that today Independence Day celebrations was simplest and even since India achieved Independence in 1947, in view of Covid-19 pandemic across the world. He recalled on this occasion, that human kind faced this kind of pandemic almost 100 years ago and posed new challenges to human life. In this context Associate Dean incharge advised the staff to take care of them self and their family with at most preventive measures and perform their official duty at college while following the guideline of state government and university. The NSS PO Dr. M. Ramprasad has spoken about active participation of students in different programmes viz., Swachhta Pakhwada and Fit India Freedom Run conducted under Azadi ka Amrit Mahostav @75th Independence Day and other faculty shared their views towards the programme.
