Independence day celebrations at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 15-08-2021

The 75th Independence Day was celebrations at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 15th August, 2021 wherein the students, teaching, non-teaching staff and out sourced personnel participated. On this occasion, Mr. T. Arunbabu, OISA initiated the programme by briefing the importance and significance of the day. The in-charge Associate Dean Dr. V. Bharathi hoisted the National flag followed by honoring the National Anthem Song. She addressed the gathering and spoken that India became an independent country on 15th August in 1947 with sacrifices of thousand’s of freedom fighters who worked hard to get India Independent from the British rule and it remind us about the pain of being enslaved, the strength of unity and integrity. The freedom fighters done the agitations in the way of non-violence, non-cooperation and civil dis-obedience. She also emphasized that, it is our prime responsibility as proud citizens of our country to perform sincerely our duties for the progress and development of our country. She given message to encourage their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride as being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility and addressed the students their role for the nation’s wealth. The III year B. Sc. (Hons) Agriculture student Ms. B. Soujanya sung a song related to patriotism on this occasion. All the participants paid their floral tributes to national leaders and finally the programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by OISA.
