75th Republic Day Celebrations at EEI, Hyderabad on 26-01-2024

India’s 75th Republic Day on 26th January, 2024 was celebrated all over the nation with enthusiasm and pride, the women empowerment was showcased with ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed India) and ‘Bharat - Loktantra ki Matruka,’ (India - mother of democracy) on the Kartavya Path at New Delhi. In the same way, EEI, Hyderabad also celebrated India’s Republic Day with pride and unity, all the staff working at EEI campus i.e., EEI, Hyderabad, Quality control Lab and Pesticide Residues Lab were invited to the Flag Hoisting Ceremony. Dr.M.Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI, Hyderabad hoisted the National Flag and paid tributes to the national leaders. During his speech, he emphasized that EEI should maintain the integrity, novelty and work hard for the benefit of the farming community. Capacity building programmes with latest farm technologies should be included in EEI trainings. Further, he also said that more importance is given for women empowerment in EEI activities, for example ‘Gender Budgeting’ training programme in collaboration with Gender Budgeting Division, Ministry of Women & Child Development will be organized from 29th to 31st January, 2024 at EEI, Hyderabad.
