RARS, Palem - Independence day celebrations on 15.08.2023

Regional Agricultural Research Station, Palem has celebrated 77th Independence Day on 15.08.2023 at 9.00 am. In these celebrations, Dr. M. Malla Reddy, Associate Director of Research, Teaching, Non-teaching, Ministerial staff, out sourcing staff, time scale and seasonal laborers of Regional Agricultural Research Station, teaching staff and Students of Agricultural Polytechnic College, Palem were participated in Flag Hoisting ceremony. The National flag was hoisted by Dr. M. Malla Reddy, ADR, Palem and all the staff in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to the nation. Later, APT students gave speech on freedom fighting and sang patriotic songs. Dr. M. Malla Reddy, ADR, Palem gave impressive speech about the historic day and the efforts of numerous freedom fighters of India and empasized that the sovereignty and integrity of the country should be maintained. Further instructed to the particpants that every one of us should take responsible for development of varieties, technologies which are useful for the development of agriculture, eradication of malnutrition by nutrtitonal food security to future generations. The programme was ended with the distribution of refreshments.
