ARS Adilabad - 7th PJTSAU Foundation Day Celebrations on 3rd September, 2021

Farmer's Scientist interaction meeting was conducted on 03.09.2021 at 9.00 AM to 1.30 PM in Adopted village, Seetagondi, Gudihatnoor Mandal, Adilabad District in which nearly 60 farmers were participated and also distributed the inputs to the selected farmers of the adopted village and created awareness on the following issues. Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Pr. Scientist (Agro.) & Head, ARS, Adilabad has explained about contribution of Prof. Jayashankar towards Telangana movement for which his name was placed to the University as Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, which is the 1st University formed after bifurcation from Andhra Pradesh State and also described the achievements of the University during last seven years. Dr. V. Thirumala Rao, Sr. Scientist (PL Br.) emphasized regarding Cotton scenario in the district & disease management; Sri G. Anil Kumar, Scientist (PL Br.) spoken about Cotton pink bollworm management; Dr. D. Mohan Das, Scientist (Agro.) reported about Cotton crop management (i.e., weed & nutrient); Sri K. Rajashekar, Scientist (Ento.) emphasized the importance of Cotton & Soybean Pest management; Dr. M. Rajendar Reddy, Scientist (PL Br.) addresses about Soybean seed production & related issues and finally Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Pr. Scientist (Agro.) & Head, ARS, Adilabad emphasized regarding the Soybean crop management issues followed by Farmers interaction with Agricultural Officers & Scientists in which Agriculture Departmental officials, Smt. Revathi, MAO, Gudihatnoor; Sri Sreedhar, AEO, Seetagondi; Sri Madavi Dhanalaxmi, Sarpanch; Sri Santosh Goud, Upa Sarpanch; Sri K. Jangu, AMC Vice Chairman were also addressed the gathering.
