8th University Foundation Day celebrations at Agricultural College, Warangal on 03-09-2022

The 8th Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) foundation day was celebrated on 03-09-2022 at Agricultural College, Warangal. At the outset, Smt. K.Swathi, Assistant Professor invited the gathering and welcomed the Associate Dean Dr. M. Balram and Dr. G.Santosh Kumar, OISA on to the dias. Firstly the Associate Dean and all the staff offered floral tributes to Sri Kothapalli Jayashankar sir after lighting the lamp followed by University song. The programme was started with the brief introduction and welcome address by Dr. G. Santosh Kumar, OISA. Dr. A.Venkat Reddy, Professor (Entomology) enlightened the students about the importance of the University foundation day and achievements of university in the last 8 years. Then certificates were distributed to the student winners of literary competitions on essay writing, elocution and poster making conducted on 02-09-2022 as part of 8th foundation day celebrations of PJTSAU. Dr. M.Balram, Associate Dean addressed the gathering about the infrastructure created, different facilities provided to the students by the university. Also mentioned that University is striving hard to provide quality infrastructure and education to the students and the initiatives taken in Teaching, Research and Extension. He urged that all the staff of the University need to work cooperatively for reaching the higher heights in near future. Later Smt. M.Harika, Assistant Professor proposed formal vote of thanks. All the teaching, non-teaching staff and students of Agricultural College, Warangal participated in the programme.
