Organised training cum input distribution programme on CFLD-Redgram at KVK, Palem, Nagarkunrool dist on 16-06-2021

Organized training cum input distribution programme on CFLD-Redgram on 16.06.2021 at KVK, Palem, Nagarkurnool dist during Kharif, 2021-22. The CFLD on Redgram has been taken up in 4 clusters namely Nallavelly (12 no), Ippalapally (17 no.), Gorita (12 no.) Khanapur (9 no.). Dr. Ch. Damodhar Raju, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Palem, Dr, Sujatha, Principal scientist, oil seeds, Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem, Mr. B. Rajashekar, SMS, (AE) in charge of CFLD -Pulses and Mr. M. Rajashekhar, SMS(PP), AEOs and 50 farmers were participated in this programme. Dr. Ch. Damodhar Raju, Associate director of research, RARS, Palem has briefed about importance of pulses and explained production technologies to get higher yields. Dr, Sujatha, Principal scientist, oil seeds explained about the importance timely operations in field and it will reduce the yield losses of the crop Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palemand the CFLD i/c Mr.Mr. B. Rajashekar, SMS, (Agricultural Extension)has explained the importance of the cluster front line demonstrations on Redgram, integrated crop management technologies to obtained higher yield levels in Redgram crop. In this programme distributed critical inputs to the CFLD-Redgram to the farmers per acre viz., Seed of PRG-176 3 Kg, Pendimithalin 1 lt. Mr. M. Rajashekhar, SMS, (Plant Protection) explained about integrated Pest and disease management practices. A total of 50 farmers were participated.
