AELP UNIT - Dept. of RMCS, College of Community Science, Saifabad, Hyderabad

The Department of Resource Management and Consumer Science, College of Community Science, Saifabad, Hyderabad has established an Experiential Learning Programme (ELP) unit named as “Floral Art Production Unit.” In this, B.Sc. final year students are given hands - on training on different types of interior decoration product making. Till date, students were successful in delivering beautiful products to the customers, both customized pieces and in bulk. Some of the floral decoration products students have done includes dry flower table arrangements and bouquets; floral resin products and accessories; miniatureand succulent gardens; potted plants and artifacts used in interiors. Students are slowly venturing into bringing different kinds of traditional art forms and handicrafts into light by using them in making different kinds of festival décor, home furnishings and accessories.
