Awareness Programme on Climate change in Agriculture was conducted at KVK, Kampasagar on 10.03.2021 in collaboration with NABARD. Dr. M. Shankaraiah, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar briefed about the Soil & Fertilizer Management during changing climate scenario. Dr. M. Govardhan, Senior Professor & Head, ARS, Kampasagar emphasized on Integrated Farming systems suitable to various climatic conditions. Sri. N. Satyanarayana, DDM, NABARD briefed the importance of Awareness Programme on climate change. Dr. M. A. Aariff Khan (Retd. Senior Professor, PJTSAU) explained about the agro Forestry systems. Dr.T. Bharath, SMS (Crop Production) explained about Climate change and various climatic factors affecting Agriculture. T.Himabindu SMS (Horticulture) explained about climate resilient Horticultural Technologies. Dr.M. Shankar SMS (Plant Protection) dealt with pest calendar of different crops and Smt. S. Pallavi, SMS (Extension) dealt with different ICT Tools and their uses to farmers . Total 50 farmers Particpated in the Programme.
