Kadaknath chicks (1month age old, 700 in Number) as micro enterprise were distributed to beneficiaries of Tribal men and women farmers of Palthyathanda of adopted Tribal Village in Nalgonda District in presence of Dr. R.Jagadeshwar, Director of Research, PJTSAU, Hyderabad under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) on 23.09.2021. Director of Research graced the TSP training programme and stressed on Crop diversification and promotion of livelihood through integrated farming for small farmers. Dr. M. Shankaraiah, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar explained the purpose of giving kadaknath is to promote the Integrated Farming System to get additional income and overall sustainability through meat and egg production Dr.M.Goverdhan, ARS, Head explained about integrated farming system importance and different models under Ayacut area. Kadaknath chicks are distributed to 70 families @ 10 per each family. Dr.T.Bharath, SMS (Crop Production) and TSP incharge created awareness on feed management for chicks.KVK Scientists and 60 farmers were participated.
