Distribution of Rajasri chicks to Beneficiaries of Schedule Caste women Under SC Sub Plan (SCSP) at KVK, Kampasagar on 09-02-2021

1 month age old Rajasri chicks as Backyard Poultry (800 No.) were distributed to beneficiaries of SC women of Babusahebpet and Kampasagar of adopted SC Villages of Nalgonda District by Dr. M. Goverdhan, Head, Agriculture Research Station, Kampasagar under Schedule Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) on 09.02.2021. The purpose of giving Rajasri chicks is to promote the Backyard Poultry to get additional income through meat and egg production. 7 Rajasri chicks were distributed to each SC women beneficiary (Total SC Women beneficiaries 120 No) as unit in both adopted villages. Dr. Swarnalatha Sevi, Principal, Agriculture Polytechnic, Kampasagar briefed role of women in Agriculture and Allied sectors. Dr.T. Bharath, SMS (Crop Production) and Poultry component in charge created awareness on feed and disease management for chicks. Scientists Dr. M. Shankar, S.
