PJTSAU DRONE ACADEMY - EMPOWERING WOMEN SELFHELP GROUPS THROUGH REMOTE PILOT TRAINING ON DRONES IN AGRICULTURE – VALEDICTORY PROGRAMME ON 19.1.2024

In an effort to encourage drone usage in agriculture, PJTSAU Drone Academy of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University has conducted Remote Pilot training to Women Self Help Groups and their officials sponsored by Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited from 10.1.2024 to 19.1.2024. The Pilot Licence Certificates and course completion certificates were issued to the first batch on 19.1.2024. The trainees gave positive feedback about the programme. Dr. V. Sudha Rani, Director of Extension expressed her happiness over the good initiative to train women SHGs on drones, and requested the participants to harness the benefits of this training and motivate others on drone usage. Dr. P. Raghu Rami Reddy, Director of Research, PJTSAU congratulated all the trainees for completing this skilful training effectively. Dr. M. Venkata Ramana, Registrar applauded the efforts of PJTSAU staff and Collaborator Marut Drones for successful completion of 1st batch of women SHGs from Uttar Pradesh and suggested to train and motivate others to derive the benefits of this new technology.
