Drone spraying in sesame crop in farmer field

As a part of evaluation and standardization of plant protection solutions in sesame crop using drones, efficacy study on management of pest and disease using chemicals was done on 08-04-2021 at Takkalapalli village of Jagtial district. For this programme, Smt. Dava Vasanta, Z.P. Chairperson, Jagtial has attended as chief guest and launched drone spraying in the farmer field. Dr.P. Jagan Mohan Rao, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Jagtial explained in detail about the drone spraying project and its outcome taken up by RARS, Jagtial to the participants. Spraying was done for efficacy against powdery mildew disease in sesame crop. Sri P. Suresh, DAO, Jagtial, ADA & AEOs, Scientists of RARS, Jagtial, Rythu Samanvaya Samithe President, members and local farmers participated in the programme.
