Farmers Training Programme on Pest & disease management in Greengram on 09-12-2021

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized farmers training programme on “Pest & disease management in Greengram” on 09-12-2021 at Vinobanagar Village of Bayyaram Mandal. In this programme, Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) delivered lecture on “Pest & disease management in Greengram” and emphasized on “importance of seed treatment in Greengram for sucking pest management at early stages and management of YMV with IPM practices and resistant varieties”. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Hort.) explained the management of flower thrips in Chilli and integrated crop management practices for retaining good yields in Chilli crop, followed by visit to Greengram fields. In this programme 28 no.of farmers participated.
