Training Programme on “Fodders Cultivation at adopted village, Satyanarayanapuram on 18-08-2021

Agricultural Research Station, Kampasagar and Regional Fodder Station, Hyderabad have jointly organized training programme on “Fodder Cultivation and its impact on Milk Production” in adopted village, Satyanarayanapuram on 18.08.2021.Dr. Shaik Mohammed, PG Dean (Retd.), ANGRAU is the chief guest and Dr.Banvir Singh, Director, RFS, Hyderabad, Dr.M.Goverdhan, PS (Agro)& Head, Dr.K.Sumalini, SS (Pl.br.), Dr.G.Shiva Prasad, Scientist (Pl.br.), Sri.M.Srinivas, Sarpanch, Satyanarayanapuram and 100 famers have attended the training. Dr.K.Sumalini in introductory remarks said that Satyanarayanapuram is the adopted village of ARS, Kampasagar and programmes are being undertaken on agricultural technologies for overall development of the village. Dr.Shaik Mohammed explained to the farmers on the importance of fodder cultivation, uses, various fodder crops available, feeding methods etc. Dr.M.Goverdhan mentioned that ARS, Kampasagar is going to implement modern agricultural technologies in the adopted village and farmers should utilize the opportunities. Programme was ended with distribution of napier grass cuttings and fodder jowar seed to farmers.
