Training programme “Integrated crop management in Dolichos bean” on 01-11-2021
Training programme on integrated crop management in Dolichos bean was jointly organized at Bhallanpally village, Tadoor mandal, Nagarkurnool district, Telangana state on 01.11.2021 to the vegetable growers by KVK. Palem, Nagarkurnool dist and NGO-SDDPA, Tadoor. Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem given training on integrated crop management in Dolichos bean i.e. Selection of varieties, Seed treatment, Biofertilizer application, Raised bed and Drip irrigation system, plastic Mulching preparation, pre-emergence herbicide application, fertigation schedule, micronutrient foliar spray, integrated pest, and disease management to the farmers. Also, he created awareness on year-round Dolichos bean cultivation by growing bush-type varieties. Miss. K. Maheswari, Horti & Sericulture officer, Nagarkurnool division given information on Govt. subsidy schemes on Onion storage structures, Drip irrigation systems, and Plastic mulch film to the farmers. The training programme was graced by Grama sarpanch Sri Ashok garu and Mr. Venkateswar rao, Project manager- NGO-SDDPA, and Field assistants and 30 vegetable farmers had actively participated in this training programme.
