Awareness programme on “Yoga, Efficient and Balanced Use of Fertilizers and Agro forestry” as part of the – Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav by KVK Malyal on 21-06-2022

KVK, Malyal organized awareness cum training programme on yoga, Efficient and Balanced Use of Fertilizers and Agroforestry on the occasion of World Yoga Day at Gurimella village of Bayaram Mandal on 21.06.2022. Dr. N.Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), KVK, Malyal addressed the gathering and explained about the importance of International yoga day, Agro forestry, Seed availability of newly released PJTSAU varieties, usage of Trichoderma, Pseudomonas and PSB application in different crops. Sri B.Ramji, MAO, Bayaram explained about department subsidies and availability of green manure seeds. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator explained in detail about the balanced and split application of fertilizers in different crops, High density planting system in Cotton, Direct seeding in Paddy the experts answered to the queries raised by the farmers about on black thirps management in chillies. In this programme, Sri B. Tejaswini AEO, Gurimella cluster, Sri V.Bhadraiah, MPTC, Bayaram, Smt. V.Anasurya, Sarpanch, Gurimella and 63 no.of farmers participated.
