KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted a training programme on “Integrated Pest and Disease Management in commercial crops” at KVK farm on 03-09-2021

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted training programme on “Integrated Pest and Disease Management in commerical crops” on 03.09.2021 at KVK farm. Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme coordinator inaugurated the programme and explained about the IPM & IDM practices to be taken in commerical crops grown in the district i.e., Chilli, Cotton, Tobacco etc. She has also explained about the precautions to be taken by farmer while spraying chemical B. Shiva, SMS(Horticulture) has explained about ICM and IPM practices in Chilli, Tomato & Vegetables. Ms. S. Vindya, SMS (Agromet) has explained about the effect of weather on crops and weather based agro advisory services provided by the KVK under DAMU project. Later, Dr. R.Vishwatej, SMS(Extension) has organised a short KVK farm tour along with all the trainees to demonstrate the seed production plots and demo units.
