Use of PJTSAU microbial consortia in compost making at Agricultural College, Jagtial on 10-11-2021
As a part of Azadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav,NSS unit of Agricultural College, Jagtial organized an event on “Use of PJTSAU microbial consortia in compost making” utilizing plant based waste available around college premises under the Clean India programme on 10.11.2021. In-charge Associate Dean Dr. K.B. Suneetha Devi briefed the importance of microbial consortia for faster decomposition of plant waste and the product obtained can be used as manure for improving soil health, proper plant growth and development. Satyanarayana Reddy, other teaching and non-teaching staff and students actively involved in the collection of plant debris, preparation of compost using waste decomposer, fertilizer urea and single super phosphate.
