Regional Agricultural Research station, Polasa, Jagtial conducted Distribution of Inputs cum training programme on production technology, integrated management and Mechanization in Maize under SC Subplan-2020-21 on 07.07.20201. In this programme Associate Director of Research, Dr.P. Jagan Mohan Rao apprised the participants about the objectives of SC subplan and enlightened the farmers on the importance of Maize crop and its role in cropping systems and industrial usages specially poultry industry. Dr. D Sravani Scientist Maize breeding ARS Karimnagar briefed the best management practices and Mechanization in Maize and also created awareness on pest, disease with special reference to Fall Army worm and weed management aspects in Maize. Later ADR along with Sarpanch of Gullapeta, Jabithapur and Laxmipur villages distributed inputs i.e. Tarpaulins and Maize seed to 140 beneficiary farmers. Later Sarpanch of beneficiary villages spoke about the services of research station in motivating the farmers on latest technologies in agriculture. Smt.P. Sadvi, SC sub plan in charge organized the programme. In this programme all the Scientists from RARS, Jagtial and beneficiary farmers from Jabithapur, Laxmipur and Gullapeta villages were participated.
