The 73rd Republic Day celebrations were held at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 26th January, 2022. On this occasion the Associate Dean, Dr. T. Uma Maheswari hoisted the National flag and started the programme. The Officer In-charge Student Activities, Dr. T. Arunbabu while explaining the significance of the day said that there was no constitution for our country, Soon after achievement of Independence on 15 August 1947. Under the chairmanship of the father of Indian Constitution, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar prepared draft of Constitution and permanent Constitution for the Independent India has been came into existence on this auspicious day. The Associate Dean in her address said that the fundamental rules for the citizens of the country were included in the constitution as a topmost priority which give safety and protection to people leading to comfortable living. She urged the staff to do their duties with most respect to increase the academic standards and create friendly atmosphere in our college. All the teaching, non-teaching staff and out sourced personnel were participated in the programme and paid the floral tributes to national heroes. Finally the programme was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by OISA.
