Conducted Technology week under Tribal Sub Plan at KVK, Kampasagar on 19-03-2021

KVK, Kampasagar is organizing Technology week for five days under Tribal Sub Plan at KVK, Kampasagar from 17.03.2021 to 21.03.2021. As a part of Technology Week on Day 03 i.e., 19.03.2021 Dr.M.Shankaraiah, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar, S.Pallavi, SMS (Extension), A. Sai Kiran, SMS (Agrometerology) educated farmers on different agriculture information sources available to farmers, PJTSAU YouTube channel, agriculture mobile applications and Websites that are useful to the farmers. After that, A. Sai Kiran, SMS (Agrometeorology) explained the importance of Weather in Agriculture and benefits of Weather based farming and suggested different available media to know location specific weather information and also demonstrated how to download present popular Weather information providing apps like Meghdoot for Rainfall forecast and Agromet Advisories, Damini for Lightening alert and Rain Alarm for Proximity, Intensity and Duration knowing of nearby Rainfall event. Tribal Farmers (43No.) participated in the programme.
