Inauguration of Rythu Nestam – Real time Digital Connect of Expert with Farmers at Rythu Vedikas

PJTSAU , Electronic wing in collaboration with Dept.of Agriculture Telangana state initiated “ Rythu Nestam ”Live programme connecting Scientists-- Farmers and Dept. officials in real time. The new digital initiative started with the support of RKVY funds [Rs 96 crore] for three year period [2023-2025] with an aim to connect 2601 Rythu vedikas across the state. The Rythu Nestam Programme launched by Sri.A.Revanth Reddy garu , Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana on 6-3-2024 connecting 110 Rythu Vedikas in the presence of Sri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka garu, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Sri Tummala Nageswar Rao garu, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Sri. Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy garu Hon’ble Minister for Roads and Building, Sri. Ponnam Prabhakar garu, Hon’ble Minister for Transport and B.C Welfare, Sri.M.Raghunandan Rao IAS, Secretary [Agriculture and Cooperation] and Vice-chancellor,PJTSAU, Sri B.Gopi IAS, Director of Agriculture, Dr.P.Raghu Rami Reddy, Director of Research, Dr.V.Sudha Rani, Director of Extension. The Farmers and Public representatives at respective Rythu Vedikas along with officials at State and District level and Faculty from Electronic wing attended the event.
