The Placement Cell, College of Agriculture, Rajendrangar, PJTSAU in association with the IMS Learning Resources Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai has conducted a workshop on “Management career options for B.Sc. Agriculture” on 7-10-2023 from 10:30 – 11:30 AM in hybrid mode in the virtual class room of College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar for the benefit of the final year undergraduate students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture. Dr. M. Shanti, Professor (Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry) and Placement Cell i/c welcomed the Associate Dean, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar and Hon’ble Member, Board of Management, PJTSAU and Mr Sanga N. L. N. Sharma, Lead Mentor, IMS Learning Resources Pvt. Ltd., students and faculty to the workshop. Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean called upon the students to take advantage of the workshop and encouraged them to be proactive in planning their career. The guest speaker Mr. Sanga N.L.N. Sharma covered various aspects of management career options for undergraduate students pursuing B.Sc. in agriculture. Mr. Sharma spoke about the agenda of CAT examination, the targets to be set, the timelines to be followed, skills required to crack the CAT etc. He also discussed the courseware, various modules, masterclass sessions and student mentoring followed by interaction with the students. The workshop ended with the proposal of formal vote of thanks by Dr. V. Ramya, Assistant Professor and additional Placement Cell i/c. A total of 169 students of AELP and RAWEP registered for the workshop. Eighty eight AELP students attended the workshop in offline mode and 45 students of RAWEP attended in the online mode.
