Creating Awareness on use of Plant Protection Kits for Safety Measures at Borraipalem (V), Tripuraram (M), Nalgonda Dist Nalgonda Dist by KVK, Kampasagar on 9-11-2020

Creating one day awareness Programme on safety measures by use of standard Plant Protection Kits was conducted jointly by AICRP on Pesticides and Residues Scheme, PJTSAU, Rajendranagar and KVK, Kampasagar at Borraipalem (V), Tripuraram (M), Nalgonda Dist on 9.11.2020. Dr.M.A. Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar addressed to farmers to wear PP Kits compulsory while spraying and dusting pesticides for safety of health hazards. Dr. Sreedevi, Principal Scientist and Head, Pesticides and Residues Scheme cautioned and applead farmers to wear PP Kits without forget before spraying to protect from itching, alargery, irritation of eyes, skin, vomittings etc. Field Demo in Rice crop was conducted while spraying by wearing Plant Protection Kit dress by farmer for safety purpose. On this occasion Plant Protection Kits (60 No) was distributed to Schedule Caste farmers under SC Sub Plan with the assistance of AICRP on Pesticides and Residues Scheme in the presence of Smt. Venkatamma, Sarpanch, Vice Sarpanch, Sri. Jagadeswar Reddy, ADA, Haliya division, concerned Mandal Agrl. Officer, AEO, SMSs Dr. M.Shankar, Dr. T. Bharath, KVK, Kampasagar Smt. Jamimia, Scientist (Entomology), Pesticides & Residues Scheme, Rajendranagar and Sri. Lakshmi Narayana, Area Manager, Mansnto, Suryapet District and group of farmers all together 70 were participated.
