Platinum Jubilee Celebrations (Virtual mode) of the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar in festive manner on 21-08-2021

The Virtual Mode of alumni connect programme at the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar was organised in the festive manner on 21.08.2021. Dr V. Praveen Rao, the Hon’ ble Vice Chancellor, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University was the chief guest of the historic event. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and chief guest of the event, while addressing the gathering of the University officers, galaxy of the alumni members, briefed about the progress, the University has made over the years and significant achievements of the same to shape the destiny of the farming community. On the occasion, the hon’ ble Vice Chancellor requested the alumni members who have served/ serving different corners of the globe to aim for strengthening the activities for the societal benefit. Dr S Sudheer Kumar, the esteemed Registrar of the University also spoke on the occasion about the initiatives, the University has taken to strengthen the infrastructure. The University officers namely Dr R Jagadeeshwar, Director of Research, Dr Seema, Dean of the faculty of Agriculture, and Dr V. Anitha, Dean for PG studies , who were all the alumni members of the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar have shared their experiences of the College life and gave a glimpse of the nostalgic feelings of those days. The session was followed by the experience sharing by alumni members. The programme was coordinated by Dr C Narendra Reddy, the Associate Dean. On the occasion, the video of all the batches of the college was played and University profile video to show case the University progress was also showed to the distinguished guests.
