PM -KISAN Programme at Agricultural College, Sircilla

The Agricultural College, Sircilla has arranged the live telecasted programme of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) in the adopted village, Narasimhulapalle with 20 farmers on 25.12.2020 for interacting with Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi ji. The Co-ordinator of Village Adoption Programme, Dr. K. Rajesh, Assistant Professor (Crop Physiology) had given brief introduction about the programme to the farmers. The programme has been addressed by the Union Agricultural Minister Sri. Narendra Singh thomar ji explained about the importance of programme to the farmers. Prime Minister of India released Rs 18,000 crores as the 7th installment of PM Kisan money to more than 9 crores of farmers at 12 PM via video conference. Later, he interacted with the farmers from different parts of the country where the farmers have expressed their happiness regarding the event.In this programme, committee members of the village adoption programme namely Dr. R. Sathish, T. Arunbabu along with the farmers of the village have participated by following social distancing, wearing mask in COVID-19 pandemic situation.
