Pre Rabi awareness programme on Major Crops" at Bethampudi village, Tekulapally Mandal on 08-10-2020 by KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem

KVK, Bhadradri kothagudem has conducted “Pre-Rabi awareness programme on major crops” in Bethampudi village of Tekulapally mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem district on 08.10.2020. Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, SMS (Plant Protection) explained about the crops that are to be sown in the ensuing Rabi season and their package of practices and also explained about the pest management practices that are to be taken up in the ongoing kharif season. Dr. R. Vishwatej, SMS (Extension) has spoken about the Integrated farming system, drum seeding technique in paddy, and the minikits testing in the village. Dr. B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture) has discussed about the management of viral complex in chilli crop and suitable vegetable crops for rabi season. After the training programme the scientific team visited the farmer’s fields and suggested the remedial measures for pests observed. A total of 32 farmers attended the training programme.
