Awareness Programme on Millets as Super Food to the Coming Generation at MPIC , PJTSAU R'nagar on 11.01.2023

Millet processing and incubation centre of PJTSAU organised one day awareness programme to the 220 students and 20 teachers form Gaudium School, Velimela, kollur part of the international Year of millets 2023. The programme was coordinated by Dr. B. Anila Kumari, Officer Incharge and Mrs. E. Jyoshna, Assistant Professor.. Students were completely engaged with the millet related activities like exploring the students towards various value added products prepared from millets, need and importance of each millets and their significance was explained. Students were also exposed towards fun games as identifying millets being blindfolded. Live demonstration on primary processing and biscuit preparation was given by using different high end equipments. Dr. M. Nagesh P.I Millets, Mrs. T. Pradeepa, Dr. T. Sucharita, Dr. T. Supraja and PG, ELP Students participated in the programme.
