Prof. Kothapally Jayashankar Birthday celebrations at RARS, Jagtial on 06.08.2023

Professor Kothapally Jayashankar’s 89th birth anniversary was celebrated on 06.08.2023 in the silver jubilee hall of Regional Agricultural Research Station, Polasa, Jagtial. All the Teaching and Non Teaching staff, Time Scale, Outsourcing, Contract labours and Agricultural Polytechnic staff members and students have participated. Dr. B. Laxmi Prasanna, Scientist (Pl.Br) and (i/c) Public Relation Officer welcomed all the participants for the function and spoke about the biography of Professor Kothapally Jayashankar. Floral tributes were paid by Dr. D. Sreelatha, Associate Director of Research (i/c) and all other staff members. Associate Director of Research (i/c) spoke about significant contributions that were made by Professor Kothapally Jayashankar, a leading ideologue of the Telangana Movement. She said that Professor Kothapally Jayashankar is a great legendry leader, and inspiration to everyone, she also urged all the staff and students to follow the legendry leader’s path with sincere efforts to acheive “Bangaru Telanagana”. Scientists and students and other participants also spoke about the services of Professor Kothapally Jayashankar on this occasion.
