Regional Agricultural Research Station, Jagtial organized field visit at adopted village, Allipoor, Jagtial on 14.09.2023

Regional Agricultural Research Station, Polasa, Jagtial organized field visit to paddy minikits, OFTs, millets and other fields at Allipoor (V), Raikal (M), Jagtial (D) on 14.09.23. During the visit, observed stemborer incidence at tillering stage and recommended spraying of Cartap Hydrochloride @ 2 g/l. Stemborer incidence also observed in panicle initiation stage and suggested spraying of Chlorantraniliprole @ 0.3 ml/l.Gall midge incidence was also observed and recommended Fipronil @ 2.5 ml/l for control. For control of zinc deficiency, recommended spraying of zinc sulphate @ 2 g/l.Later, visited jowar and ragi fields and suggested management practices.In this programme, Dr. D.A. Rajini Devi, Scientist (Ag. Economics), i/c of adopted village, Dr. P. Gonya Nayak, Scientist (Pl. Breeding), Dr. P. Ravi, Scientist (SSAC), Mrs. Y. Swathi, Scientist (Entomology) and nearly 16farmers were participated.
