Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) Organized on 31stOctober, 2021 at Agricultural College, Jagtial
Agricultural College, Polasa, Jagtial has celebrated birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai patel on 31st October, 2021 On the occasion of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). NSS Programme Officer Mr. A. Umarajashekhar gave the introduction about patel. Officer incharge of student activities Dr.O.Sampath attended and expressed his views about the importance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. In his views Rashtriya Ekta Diwas will provide an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country. Dr.K.Chandrasaker expressed his views about Iron man of India stating that good relationship among the people of the nation is a binding force that brings peace and development and also enable us to unify against various threats of enemies.Another teaching faculty Dr.V.Ratnakar emphasized that the role of ‘Iron Man’ of India in the integration of the country post independence in 1947. The task of uniting 565 princely states specially the Nizam of Hyderabad was a Herculean task and it was done by none other than the patel. On the occasion of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas NSS Unit on 30th october,2021 conducted essay writing competetions (Theme-Role of youth in national integrity & agriculture and allied sectors) & drawing competetions (Theme-Unity in diversity) through online and off-line mode and distributed the prizes to the winners.The programme was culminated by thoughtful and inspirational messages about national security and communal harmony to maintain cohesive peace and unity among the citizens of our country. Teaching staff Er.G.Pragna, Dr.P.Arun Kumar and students were participated in this programme.Students & teachers took an oath to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation in the spirit of unification of the county.

“I solemnly pledge that I dedicate myself to preserve the unity, integrity and security of Nation and also strive hard to spread this message among my fellow countrymen. I take this Pledge in Spirit of unification of my country which was made possible by the vision and actions of late SardarVallabhbhai Patel. I also solemnly resolve to make my own contribution to ensure internal security of my Country”
