Agricultural College, Warangal - Report on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas
NSS unit of Agricultural College, Warangal celebrated National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31-10-2021to mark the 146th birth anniversary of Iron Man of India - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. NSS unit of Agricultural College, Warangal organized a pledge taking event on national integrity to NSS volunteers, teaching and non-teaching staff. Dr. G. Swathi, NSS PO put forth an introductory talk about the importance of National Unity Day. On this occasion, Dr. M. Balram Associate Dean spoke about Patel’s role in India's freedom movement and in the integration of India from many princely states. He also remembered his extraordinary work in unifying the country and working hard towards making India a better place. Teaching and non-teaching staff and NSS volunteers participated in the programme and took the pledge on “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” followed by unity run in the campus.
