Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrated at College of Community Science, Saifabad, PJTSAU, Hyderabad 31 st October 2022

College of Agriculture, NSS unit, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad organized “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day)” on 31.10.2022. In India, the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day is observed every year on October 31 since 2014, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to honour and celebrate his dedication towards serving and unifying India. This year marks the 146th anniversary of the great leader who played an instrumental role in India’s struggle for independence, and later during the integration of the country. College of Agriculture along with College of Community Science and NCC cadets celebrated Unity Run by offering floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhai Patel, taking pledge, slogans and unity run on 31.10.2022 at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, PJTSAU. Teaching, non-teaching staff and NSS P.O’s, students along with DSA sir, Dean of Home science, Associate Dean, AELP directors, HOD’s gathered at College portico. All participants offered floral Tributes to Iron man of India Shri. Sardar Vallabhai Patel and took a pledge to strive for unity. This marked the formal launch of Programme. The unity run started from College portico to University auditorium. Volunteers of NSS Unit and NCC cadets along with all participants participated in unity run. Students are taking selfies to showcasing their unity. Also spread the message of unity in diversity showcasing different Slogans like “Our strength is justice, freedom and unity”, “As long as there is life, we will keep the pride of the country” and “Binnatwam lo ekatwam Mahilo mahimanvitham”. This programme was graced by Dr. J. Satyanarayana, Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, HOD,s, Senior faculty, NSS P.O’s, AELP directors.
