• Dr. K. Sadaiah received Best poster award at International Conference on Vegetable Oils – 2023 organized by Indian Society of Oilseeds Research, ICAR – IIOR, Hyderabad from 17-21, January, 2023 at University Auditorium, PJTSAU, Hyderabad.
• Dr. T. Rajeshwar Reddy, Scientist (Pl. Path) received Best Oral Presentation award at International Conference on Vegetable Oils 2023 (ICVO 2023) held from 17th January to 21st January, 2023 at Hyderabad, Telangana.
• Dr. S. Omprakash, Scientist (Entomology) received Best oral presentation award in “International Conference on Plant Health Management (ICPHM -2023).

2022

• Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Principal Scientist (Agro.) & PI, AICRPDA (VC) received ‘Appreciation Certificate’ for best poster presentation on ‘Land configuration management for enhancing the crop productivity’ during International Conference on ‘Reimagining Rainfed Agro-ecosystems: Challenges & Opportunities’ scheduled from 22-24th December, 2022 from ICAR-CRIDA & ISDA, Hyderabad.
• Dr.G.Manjulatha , Principal Scientist (Agro.) and Head  received Best oral presentation award in  National Conference on “Natural farming systems and biodiversity conservation under changing climate scenario” during December 5–7, 2022 at College of Agriculture, (Central Agricultural University, Imphal) Kydemkulai, Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya.
• ARS, Tandur along with Yalal Farmers Producer Company Ltd facilitated in getting Geographical Indication for Tandur Redgram - GI Registry, Chennai (Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India) - Geographical Indication Tag granted to Tandur Redgram – First Agricultural Commodity to claim GI Tag from Telangana.
• Dr.D.Sravani, Scientist (Pl.Br)  received Best oral presentation award in  National Conference on “Maize for Resource Sustainability, 235 Industrial Growth and Farmers’ Prosperity” held during February 23-25, 2022 at MPUAT, Udaipur.
• Dr.A.Vijay Bhaskar, Senior Scientist (Plant Pathology) received Best oral presentation award in  National Conference on “Maize for Resource Sustainability, 235 Industrial Growth and Farmers’ Prosperity” held during February 23-25, 2022 at MPUAT, Udaipur.

2021

• AICRP on IFS (Main centre) achieved First prize in Best Stall category in 5th International Agronomy Congress organized by the Indian Society of Agronomy, New Delhi.

2020

• AICRP on IFS was declared as Best centre of All India Coordinated Research project on Integrated Farming Systems under On-station: main centre category by ICAR-IIFSR, Modipuram.
• AICRP on Rice, RARS, Warangal was declared as Excellent Centre based on the QRT report of ICAR-IIRR and AICRIP 2012-2020.
• Sri K. Rajashekar, Scientist (Ento.) received Young Scientist Award on 03.09.2020 from the Society of Agricultural Research and Social Development, New Delhi.

2019

• Dr.V. Thirumala Rao, Senior Scientist (Breeding) received Distinguished Scientist award from Society for scientific development in Agriculture and technology during International conference on Global Research Intiatives for Sustainable Agriculture & Allied science (GRISAS-2019) held at National Academy of Agriculture Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad.
• Dr. C. Sudhakar, Principal Scientist (Agronomy) received Best Oral Presentation award at 5th Annual Congress on Plant & Soil Sciences-2019 held from 28th February to 2nd March, 2019 at London, United Kingdom.

2018

• AICRP on IFS was declared as Best Centre Award under “On-farm Research Category” by ICAR-IIFSR, Modipuram.
• Dr.M. Goverdhan, Principal Scientist and Head, AICRP on IFS received Best oral paper presentation award from ICAR-IIFSR, Modipuram.
• Dr.A.Vijay Bhaskar, Senior Scientist (Plant Pathology) received Best Poster presentation award in  13th Asian maize conference held during October 8-10, 2018 at  IIMR, CIMMYT, Ludhiana
• Dr.B. Balaji Naik, Principal Scientist (Agronomy) & Head received Australia Award Fellowship-2018
  Dr.B. Mallaiah, Senior Scientist (Pl. Path.) received Best poster award for Evaluation of maize genotypes for Turcicum leaf blight (Exserohilum turcicum) in Telangana state in 13th Asian maize conference "Maize for Food, feed, nutrition and environmental security, Ludhiyana , India, october 8-10th 2018, by CIMMYT and IIMR
• AICRP on Best Weed Management Centre Award 2017-18 was bestowed on AICRP on Weed Management, PJTSAU, Hyderabad in recognition of outstanding contributions made by the centre in the field weed science under All India Research Project on Weed Management. This award was conferred by ICAR - Directorate of Weed Research on the occasion ‘XXV Annual Review Meeting of AICRP on Weed Management’ organized at GBPUAT, Panthnagar on 07 June, 2018.
• AICRP on Forage Crops and Utilization, Rajendranagar has been received “Best performing centre award” during National Group Meet, Rabi 2018-19 held at CCSHAU, Hissar, Haryana on 07.09.2018.

2017

• Dr. V. Venkanna, Senior Scientist (Plant Breeding) received an “Young           Scientist” award during National Conference on “Doubling Farmers Income for Sustainable & Harmonious Agriculture DISHA-2017 at SVVU, Tirupathi.
• AICRP Scheme on development of rice varieties resistant to gall midge operating at RARS, Warangal received best centre award in AICRP Entomology for the year 2016. The award was conferred at 52nd Annual Rice Group meeting held at Assam Agricultural University at Jorhat from 8th – 11th April, 2017.
• Maize Research Centre, Rajendranagar has been honoured with the following ICAR-IIMR awards on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of AICRIP on Maize at 60th Annual Maize Workshop held at MPUAT, Udaipur during 2-4 April, 2017.
• “Outstanding AICRP Centre” award for contribution in maize research and development in the Country (1957-2015)
• “Best performance in Breeder seed production (1995-2015)”
• “Commercialization of technologies through MoUs with private seed enterprises (1957-2015)”

2016

• NASI – ICAR Award for Innovation and research on Farm Implements on 16th July 2016 at New Delhi was awarded to Dr. A. Mrunalini, Principal Scientist, AICRP on Home Science.

2015

• AICRIP on Rice, Rice Research Centre, Rajendranagar received Golden Jubilee Best AICRIP award from the ICAR in the 50th annual All India Rice Workshop held in April 2015. This award was given due to outstanding contribution in Plant Breeding discipline through development of 4 popular varieties for betterment of the farming community and to increase Rice production in the state of Telangana.
• Outstanding AICRP Centre” award for contribution in maize research and development in the Country (1957-2015).
• Best performance in Breeder seed production (1995-2015)
• Commercialization of technologies through MoUs with private seed enterprises (1957-2015)
• Receiving PPV & FRA Registration Certificates for DHM 111, DHM 113 and DHM 119

• The Seed Research & Technology Centre, Rajendranagar was honoured with Best Performance Award for the year 2014-15 during 10th Annual Review Meeting of ICAR Project entitled “Seed Production in Agricultural Crops” held at Goa from 24th to 26th August, 2015 by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Seed Science, Mau, Varanasi.
