Principal Scientist (Rice) & team visited Rice Minikit fields demonstrated under D.A.A.T.T. Centre, Karimnagar on 07-11-2020 at Morrapur village of Rajanna Sircilla District

D.A.A.T.T. Centre, Karimnagar has organized field visit on rice Minikits under PJTSAU at Morrapur village of Mustabad mandal in Rajanna Sircilla District where the all 10 minikit rice varieties (KPS 2874, KNM 1638, WGL 962, WGL 1119, JGL 28545, JGL 27356, RNR 21278, RNR 29325, RNR 15435, RNR 15459) are demonstrated as evidence hub for the farmers. Dr. M. Venkata Ramana, Principal Scientist (Rice) & Head & team of scientists observed growth performance and other parameters of the Minikits. Later they interacted with farmers to know the farmers preference and performance of minikits. Team of scientists from Rice Research Centre, ARI, Rajendranagar Dr. N.R.G. Varma, Principal Scientist; Dr. Y. Chandramohan, Senior Scientist; Dr. T. Kiranbabu, Scientist, and Dr. D. Padmaja, Scientist, RARS, Jagtial and DAATT Centre scientist Dr. K. Madan Mohan Reddy and farmers have participated in this visit.
