RRC, Rajendranagar - Village Adoption Programme - Celebration of soil health card day at Sheriguda Bhadrayapally, Kotthur (m), Ranga Reddy (d) on 19-02-2021

Soil Health Card Day was celebrated at Sheriguda Bhadraipally, Kotthur mandal, Ranga Reddy district on 19-02-2021 as part of the village adoption programme. On this occasion, a training programme was organized on “Soil Health Card Based Fertilizer Recommendations” to create awareness among the farmers on importance of soil testing and soil test-based fertilizer application in different crops. Twenty-seven soil health cards were distributed to the concerned farmers of the village. During the programme, improved fodder crops varieties (Perennial fodder sorghum, maize and Hedge Lucerne) were distributed to farmers for conducting the demonstrations. The team of scientists from Rice Research Centre, AICRP on STCR, Biological Control, FIM Scheme and AINP on Pesticide Residues, Sarpanch, Sheriguda Bhadraipally along with farmers were participated in the programme.
