Rythu Nestham Live Programme [Episode-14] “Integrated Farming Systems and Direct Seeding in Paddy” Electronic Wing, PJTSAU, ARI on 02.07.2024

The Rythu Nestam Live programme conducted at Electronic Wing Studio of PJTSAU from 10.00 AM – 12.30 PM. The programme started with Sri M Mallikarjun Reddy, a progressive farmer from Pedda Kurmampally village of Choppadandi mandal, Karimnagar district, and shared his farming experiences towards “Integrated Farming Systems and Direct Seeding in Rice” to meet immediate socio-economic needs along with long-term sustainability in agriculture. After that, Dr M. Goverdhan, Principal Scientist (Agronomy) & Head, AICRP on Integrated Farming Systems, Hyderabad motivated farmers towards “Integrated Farming Systems” to address the complex challenges facing farmers while promoting sustainability, resilience, and socio-economic development through this multifaceted approach. Further answered various questions raised by the farming community. In this “Rythu Nestham” program, Dr R. Uma Reddy, ADR, RARS, Warangal, Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Co-ordinator, Electronic Wing with team, PJTSAU and Sri B. Singa Reddy, DDA (Extension - Rythu Vedikas) with team from Department of Agriculture attended along with farmers through video conference which established in 110 Rythu Vedikas across the districts.
