Rythu Nestham Live Programme [Episode-18] on Management of Kharif Agricultural and Horticultural Crops due to Continuous Rains and Weed control measures

The Rythu Nestam Live programme [18th episode] conducted at Electronic Wing Studio of PJTSAU, Rajendranagar on 30.07.2024 from 11.00 AM – 12.00 Noon connecting 556 Ryhtu Vedikas across Telangana State. The topics covered are Management of Standing Kharif Agricultural crops due to continuous rains and crops to be sown at present conditions by Dr.G.Sreenivas, Associate Director of Research, Jagtial ; Weed control measures to be taken up in standing Kharif crops by Dr.B.Padmaja, Principal Scientist [Agronomy], AICRP on Weed Control ,Rajendranagar Hyderabad followed by management practices to be adopted in standing Horticultural crops due to Continuous Rains by Dr.Preetham Goud, Senior Scientist [Horticulture],Vegetable Research Station, Rajendranagar. Later the farmer’s questions clarified by concerned scientists. The programme attended by Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Co-ordinator, Electronic Wing with team from PJTSAU and Sri B. Singareddy, DDA (Extension, Rythu Vedikas) with team from Department of Agriculture along with 44,155 farmers and department officials through video conference from 566 Rythu Vedikas across the state.
