The nineteenth episode of Rythu Nestam Live programme conducted at Electronic Wing Studio of PJTSAU on 06.08.2024 from 10.00 AM – 12.00 PM. The programme started with Dr. Ch. Raja Goud, Senior Scientist (Entomology), Horticulture Research Station, Konda Mallepally explained about the “Pest and Disease Management in Citrus & Lime” with combination of cultural practices, biological control methods, and chemical treatments in integrated approach for effective control of pest and diseases in Citrus and Lime orchards. Hereafter, Dr M. Rajendraprasad, Scientist (Plant Breeding), ARS, Adilabad discussed about effective management practices in soybean cultivation which play crucial role in crop health to obtain higher yields. At end of the session farmer queries clarified by Dr. Ch. Raja Goud, Senior Scientist (Entomology) and Dr M. Rajendraprasad, Scientist (Plant Breeding) through this Rythu Nestam Live platform. At this program, Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Co-ordinator of Electronic Wing with team from PJTSAU and Sri B. Singareddy, DDA (Extension, Rythu Vedikas) with team from Department of Agriculture participated along with 16,912 farmers through video conference from 566 Rythu Vedikas across the state.
