Rythu Nestham Live Programme [Episode-20] “Kharif Maize and Millets management and Pesticide Residue Management” Electronic Wing, PJTSAU, ARI on 13.08.2024

The 20th episode of Rythu Nestam Live programme conducted at Electronic Wing Studio of PJTSAU on13.08.2024 from 10.00 AM – 11-30 AM . The programme started with interactive session of Dr. D.Badru , Principal Scientist (Pl.breeding), Maize Research Station, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad explained on “Kharif Maize and Millet crops management, followed by Sharing of experiences by Smt D.Alivelu, Progressive farmer, Burjugadda Thanda ,Shamshabad mandal Rangareddy district about performance of new Maize hybrids given by MRS ,PJTSAU. The second session is by Dr. G.Sridevi, Associate Dean, Agriculture College, Siricilla about “Pesticide Residue Management and its importance to Agriculture and allied sector. Later Farmers questions were clarified by experts. Dr.B.Gopi, Director of Agriculture, Telangana , Dr.P.Raghu Rami Reddy Director of Research ,PJTSAU , Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Co-ordinator of Electronic Wing with team from PJTSAU and Sri B. Singareddy, DDA (Extension, Rythu Vedikas) with team from Department of Agriculture participated along with 17,569 farmers through video conference from 566 Rythu Vedikas across the state.
