Rythu Nestham Live Programme [Episode-22] “Precautions in kharif crops during the prevailing high rainfall conditions” Electronic Wing, PJTSAU, ARI on 27.08.2024.

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing 22nd episode was conducted live from Electronic Wing Studio of PJTSAU on 27.08.2024 from 10.00 AM – 12.00 AM. The program commenced with an insightful presentation by Dr. G.Sreenivas, Associate Director of Research, Regional Agricultural Research Station, Jagityal, who presented a comprehensive overview on "Precautions to be taken up in kharif crops during the prevailing high rainfall conditions and he also briefed about nutrient management in major field crops. The session concluded with a Q&A session, where the assembled farmers from different rythu vedikas posed questions and received insightful clarifications and expert advice from the esteemed panel of scientists, including Dr. N.Ramagopal Verma Principal Scientist [Entomology] IRR, Rajendra Nagar addressing their specific concerns and doubts on Kharif crop pest management. The program saw the participation of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. B. Gopi IAS , Director of Agriculture, Telangana, and Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Coordinator of the Electronic Wing, along with their teams from PJTSAU. Sri B. Singareddy, DDA ( Rythu Vedikas), and his team from the Department of Agriculture also joined the event, which was held via video conference, reaching a vast audience of 23487 farmers from 566 Rythu Vedikas across the state.
