Rythu Nestham Live Programme (Episode-26 Date: 01.10.2024)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing 26th episode was conducted live from Electronic Wing Studio of PJTAU on 01-10-2024 from 10.00 AM – 11.30 AM. The program commenced with an interactive session on Rabi Groundnut management presented by Dr.V. Ramreddy, Scientist (Genetics& Pl. Breeding) Regional Agricultural Research Station, Palem PJTAU, followed by progressive Farmers Sri. Vishnuvardhan Reddy garu, Sri. Nagi reddy garu, Sri. Dattatreya Reddy Garu and Sri. A.M.Nagaraju garu have shared their experience in groundnut cultivation, technical support they are getting from RARS, Plaem and significance of farm machinery in groundnut harvesting. Similarly, In this session Sri. Sachin garu ADA (PP), O/o C&DA was given lucid explanation on off labelled pesticides and its usage in agriculture. Further Farmers from different Rythu vedikas across the state were raised questions at the end Dr.M. Shankar, Scientist (Entomology) Regional Agricultural Research Station(RARS), Palem PJTAU was clarified pertaining to crop protection. The program was attended by Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Coordinator of the Electronic Wing, along with his team from PJTAU and Officials from Directorate of Agriculture and Department of Agriculture and 16000 farmers from 566 Rythu Vedikas across the state.
